Tanah Lot is one of the favorite tourist destination on the island of Bali. Attraction famous for its temple of Tanah Lot is located separately from the mainland, but still within reach if the low tide without having to use a boat. This temple is one of the main temple in Bali, known as Sad heaven.Pura Tanah Lot is located in the village Beraban, Tabanan, about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Kuta.
According to the story, the temple was built in the 16th century by a successful Nirartha Danghyang strengthen Hinduism in Bali island.
